Do I have to download an app?

We do not have a Livvi app yet. For now, we use GroupMe to facilitate the group chats. This allows us to keep your phone numbers private while still providing a great service! You can create a GroupMe account by logging in with your Facebook or Google account. Please be sure to download the GroupMe app and turn your notifications on so you don’t miss a beat!

Am I guaranteed a match?

Unfortunately, no! If we can’t find you a compatible match OR if your preferences are too restrictive, we will not match you.

Why? We want this experience to be positive for everyone, and matching you into a group that we don’t think is a good fit doesn’t drive a positive experience.

The more flexible you are on your onboarding form, the more likely you are to be matched! Consider - if you are willing to meet in any area of Boston, then the number of people we can match you with increases SIGNIFICANTLY, leading to a better match for you and better groups overall!

As livvi grows we can do better and better matches! The more women who sign up, the higher the compatibility of groups we can make. So make sure to refer livvi to your roommates, colleagues, neighbors or anyone else who might be interested.

How long do I have to wait for a match?

We conduct matches every month. To find the latest details on our next round of matching and the deadlines to apply, please see our Instagram @livvi.app.

Is this the group match service free?

Our group match service is free for first-time users. After your first match, it is $5 per match for returning users.

Why do you charge $5?

We charge a small $5 fee for returning users for a few reasons:

1. This fee covers our technology costs, which include maintenance of our algorithm.

2. We have seen that a $5 fee leads to accountability and active users in our livvi groups, resulting in a better experience for everyone!

3. Livvi has grown so large in Boston that it has become a full-time job for our founders! We are so thankful for the support of our strong community.

How many groups can I sign up for?

You can only be matched in one group at a time - but we run our matches every month!

After your match round ends, you can let us know if you want to do another match (and another after that, and another after that,...)! There are so many amazing women in Boston and we hope you all go on to meet more women, one group match at a time.
